Who We Are

Solar Car Parks is a UK-incorporated business (Companies House #13458821, VAT GB 412 8973 22) registered at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX. We design, plan, install and maintain commercial-scale solar carport projects across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Since 2021 we have delivered 32 commercial solar carport projects totalling 68 MWp of installed capacity. Our projects span seven verticals — retail, NHS healthcare, education, public sector, logistics, hospitality, and manufacturing — and have collectively avoided over 18,500 tCO₂e of grid electricity since first switch-on.

What We Do

End-to-end commercial solar carport delivery. That means: free feasibility study; concept, planning and detailed design; full planning application and management; DNO G99 connection and commissioning; structural fabrication and erection; MCS-certified PV and battery installation; optional EV charger integration (we are OZEV-approved); and optional 25-year operations and maintenance wraps. Single-source delivery — no sub-contracting of liability.

Our Specialism: Commercial Carports Only

We do not do rooftop solar. We do not do domestic. We do not do ground-mount solar farms. Our entire team is built around commercial carport design, planning, and delivery. The narrowness of the specialism is the source of our 100% planning approval record: we know what every UK Local Planning Authority is likely to ask, and we pre-empt those questions in every application.
